Extra-Biblical Feeding

"There are bad reasons to turn to other writers besides the Bible. And there are good ones. One of the bad reasons we turn to other writers is that we find the Bible tame and tasteless. It is anything but tame and tasteless. One of the good reasons we turn to other writers besides the Bible is that we savor the taste of God not only in the Bible, but also in the way others savor him. The best writers intensify our taste for the Bible, and especially for God himself."
-John Piper

I must say that my introduction to reformed preaching in the past year and a half has had much the same effect on me as what Piper describes in Christian writers- an intensified taste for God's Word and an increasing hunger for God himself.

I would have to agree with you both. Watching the videos on here and reading what others have to say about God intensifies my desire to open His Word and study it as if I would need to memorize every verse. Thanks for being a great resource for reformed media.
