Jesus does speak of being born again as a fact, an event that must take place in a person's life. Then Jesus proceeds to give Nicodemus a pretty good explanation of salvation.<BR/><BR/>Vs. 14-15...an illustration that Nicodemus would know that showed the aspect of faith and exclusiveness of Christ.<BR/><BR/>Vs. 16...the plan of salvation in it's most simple form.<BR/><BR/>Vs. 17...a reminder of sin and condemnation and further proof of exclusiveness.<BR/><BR/>Vs. 18...faith = no condemnation.
